How long does a single laser tag session last?
Each laser tag session lasts 15 minutes, with an additional 5 minutes for briefing and gearing up, making each game a 20-minute experience.
If I play two games or more, how long will this take?
We schedule 20-minute breaks between games, giving players time to recharge. With setup included, two sessions take about 1 hour, and three around 1 hour 40 minutes.
What is the minimum/maximum number of players per session?
Our arena fits up to 40 players in two teams of 20. Whilst there is no set minimum of required players, we need enough players to make up two teams. If needed, our marshalls can join in to bring up numbers. Smaller groups will be paired with others, and we aim to match ages where possible
Can children of any age take part in a laser tag session?
We recommend laser tag for children over 6 years old and 1.1 metres tall for a comfortable fit in the battlesuit. Confident younger children can join with parental supervision. Feel free to visit and view the arena before booking to ensure it suits your child.
What should I wear for my laser tag session?
Wear sensible footwear like trainers and comfortable, stretchy clothing. Dark clothes are recommended, as UV lights make white clothing glow, making you easier to spot.
Can I look around the arena before booking a session?
Yes, if you have never played at Planet Laser before, we will be happy to give you a free guided tour.
Will we have the arena to ourselves?
Usually, you’ll be mixed with other groups in the same time slot. Exclusive hire is available outside normal hours—contact our team for more details.
Facilities
Is there an admission fee for the café, arcades or bowling, even if we don’t have a laser tag booking?
If you’ve come to Planet Laser to enjoy the arcade or just explore our other amenities, there is no admission fee. However, please note that admission fees apply for laser tag sessions. Feel free to pop in anytime and check out all we have to offer!
Can I bring my own food and drink to Planet Laser?
Only food and drink purchased at Café Lunar can be consumed on-site, except for birthday cakes when you’ve booked a party with us.
Does Café Lunar offer vegetarian, gluten-free or kid-friendly meal options?
It absolutely does! Café Lunar caters to everyone, with vegetarian choices, gluten-free options, and a dedicated kids’ menu featuring smaller portions of delicious meals.
Is booking required for the café, arcades or bowling facilities?
No, you do not need a booking for the café, arcade or bowling lanes.
What ages can enjoy mini bowling?
Mini bowling is suitable for everyone aged 3 and up, making it a fun activity for the whole family.
Can I win prizes in the arcade?
Yes, many of our redemption games award tickets that can be exchanged for exciting prizes at our prize counter. Keep playing to collect more tickets!

Do you provide invitations for the party?
Yes, we offer printable party invitations to help you spread the word about your big day. Just ask our team when you book, and we’ll send them over to you or you can get these from our website.
Is there a minimum age requirement for kids’ parties?
The recommended minimum age is 6 years old. There is no maximum age – everyone can join in the fun!
How far in advance should I book a kids’ party?
We recommend making your booking as far in advance as possible. We wouldn’t leave it any later than 3 weeks from your preferred date as slots fill up fast. Contact us for last-minute availability! A deposit and full payment are due 3 days before the party.
Can we play as one group or will we be split up?
Groups of fewer than 20 players can stay on the same team if desired. For larger groups of 20-40 players, you’ll be split across two teams to ensure fair and equal gameplay.
If your group doesn’t fill the 40-player limit and you haven’t booked exclusive arena hire, other players may join your session. For a fully private experience, we recommend exclusively hiring out the arena
Is there a dress code for laser tag
We suggest wearing comfortable clothing and shoes with good grip, like trainers. Dark clothing works best in the UV-lit arena, as bright colours can make you an easy target.
Are food and drinks available for group bookings?
Yes! We have a café serving a variety of hot and cold food, snacks, and drinks. For adult groups, we also have a licensed bar that can serve alcoholic drinks.
Can laser tag be tailored for team-building activities?
Yes, we can customise the game formats to include team-building challenges, such as working together to achieve specific objectives or organising tournaments to encourage friendly competition.
Is there a limit to the number of participants for corporate events?
We can accommodate up to 40 players in the arena at one time. Larger teams can rotate through laser tag sessions while enjoying other activities, like bowling or the arcade or relaxing with a drink or snacks at the café.
Can we book a half-day or full-day event?
Yes, we can create packages for both half-day and full-day events. Whether you want a quick team-building session or a full day of fun with meals and meetings included, we’ll work with you to plan every detail.
